Description

Rutland County Council is exploring the development of a new service delivery model for a children's residential care home that it is currently in the process of establishing, aimed at providing in-county residential and outreach support for children with complex emotional support needs. This initiative responds to the increasing demand for localised care and seeks to improve outcomes by keeping children close to their families, schools, and health services-reducing reliance on distant and high-cost placements. Supported by funding from the Department for Education, this strategic approach will focus on delivering integrated, evidence-based care, and links to Multisystemic Therapy (MST), that is tailored to the needs of children and families within the local area. The Council is seeking early input from potential delivery partners to help shape the design and implementation of this new model. This includes gathering insights into best practices, staffing approaches, partnership working, and outcome measurement to ensure the service is effective, child-centred, and sustainable.
