Planned Procurement Notice - Defence Water Services Programme - UK3

Description

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) on behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MoD), is looking to secure the provision of end to end Water and Wastewater services including the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the MoD's private water network through a single, national Managed Service Provider (MSP). This Notice is intended to notify industry of the planned procurement dates and is also a call for an Industry Day at Villa Park, B6 6HE on 14th October 2025. This will provide an opportunity for industry to engage with the DWSP Team, wider DIO representatives and other members of the industry. The MSP Concept Document has been designed to provide insight to MoD`s proposed design of arrangements, to be utilised and implemented by the selected Managed Service Provider. The content as well as Commercial Topics such as Tender Timelines and the Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ) will drive much of the conversation at the Industry Day, and we encourage you to submit questions by means of SLIDO that will be distributed in advance of the event. The day will encompass the following activities: 1. Overview and update of the requirement by DIO. 2. Dialogue around the commercial considerations that the team is working through. 3. Networking opportunity with other providers (Prime Contractors and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)). As part of MoD policy DIO encourages and supports SME engagement, and will have limited floor space at the event dedicated to SMEs who are invited to bring small display equipment and literature if they wish. Companies and organisations who wish to attend this Industry Day are invited to request an invite by contacting: DIODCT-PFIRP@mod.gov.uk  who will respond with further details and a Microsoft Forms Invitation. This must be done no later than Monday 15th September 2025 at 1700 and must provide the following details: Name of Company/Organisation Point of Contact and contact details Mandate/purpose of Company/Organisation Reason for Interest In issuing this Notice, DIO is not committing to carry out any procurement in relation to the requirements stated in this Notice. Non-participation in the Industry Day will not preclude any organisation from participating in any future competition.
