Martock Parish Council currently outsources its Youth Services to an external organisation called the Community Youth Partnership (CYP). This is a registered charity and was originally created and funded by a consortium of Councils including Martock. This arrangement has been in place since 2013. The current contract has reached an end, so the Council is inviting Tenders for a three year contract, with potential to extend. The Council is seeking to enter into a partnership with a Youth Service provider with a proven track record of delivering outstanding support to young people, with a team who understand that youth services are not just about running youth clubs, but also reaching out to those young people who may not have attended formal youth club sessions in the past. Requirements: 2 open access evening sessions per week 1 session of detached youth work per week One to one support As required Work within local schools Reports to MPC Termly reports and at least one presentation to Full Council per annum User survey (results to be shared with MPC) At least one survey conducted per year
