BHCC - Weight Management Service

Description

Brighton and Hove City Council is currently considering the options available to it in its recommissioning of Weight Management Services for the City. The Services are currently provided via Contract with an external provider, BeeZee Bodies Ltd. This preliminary market engagement is being conducted to investigate; • the different models available for of delivery for Weight Management Services, • the advantages and disadvantages of each model, • the experience of the market in delivering these models, and • approaches in targeting specific groups for whom we wish to achieve better health outcomes in the delivery of Weight Management Services. In addition to seeking feedback from organisations who provide Weight Management Services, the Council is also interested in receiving feedback from organisations who may be interested in partnership or sub-contracting arrangements (i.e. working with a Weight Management Provider) to improve health outcomes and access to Weight Management Services for the groups they represent.
