Ordnance Survey are seeking tenders for the provision of a supply chain data collection tool, support with supplier engagement, and subsequent data analysis of the responses. We are looking to set a net zero carbon target which accelerates the 2050 target set by HM Government which we are signed up to as a Public Corporation. Ordnance Survey is highly conscious of greenwashing, and must therefore have reliable, accurate data to support such a target. To do this, we are working to improve our understanding of our scope 3 emissions with a specific focus on supply chain, estimated to contribute circa 90% of our scope 3 emissions. The data collection tool must therefore include robust emissions data, and supplier target setting as well as delivery against noted targets so that we can assess delivery against our own targets in future years.
