High Level Roofing and Associated Works, St Ives Library

Description

High level roofing works to include the re-roofing of the library with like for like dry lay roofing slates. Additional information: St Ives Town Council own and manage the public library. A detailed survey confirms that the roof needs re-covering together with some minor repairs. As part of roof works, it is intended that a solar panel system will also be installed on the Southern aspect by a third party. The two storey building sits on a busy junction in the centre of town and the works will require scaffolding and an associated streetworks licence to be secured. It is a heritage asset but is not listed.
