Tenders are invited for the provision of Bowling Greens Consultancy for Victoria Park. Warwick District Council are seeking a fine turf consultant to assist the green keeper in looking after 5 Bowling Greens at Victoria Park, Leamington Spa and ensuring they meet the requirements needed for the National and international tournaments held each year. The fine turf consultant must be suitably qualified and possess the experience to advise the green keeper on: o Chemical Treatments o Fertiliser Programmes o Maintenance Schedules o Spring and Autumn Renovation programmes. o Analysis of: trueness, hardness, moisture content and speed of the greens during playing season. o Organic Matter and Soil Analysis o Take measurements for speed, hardness and trueness of the playing surface It is expected the consultant will visit the site to take the information needed, which will be in conjunction with meeting the green keeper and client officer in charge to give a briefing before a report is sent through The contract will be for a period of 5 years commencing 01/02/2023, with the option to extend for a period of 3 years. The Contract Value is approximately ?12,000 [per 12 month period].
