The Ivers Parish Council Street lighting maintenance specification Tenders are sought for the maintenance of existing and any future street lights in lver Parish to the following specification. 1. The tenders are from the 1st April 2023. Quotes are sought for a contract time period of three years. 2. A full list of lights is supplied with this documentation. Current lighting stock is approximately 550 heads (including five columns with double heads). The majority are on 5 metre aluminum columns [8] are on brackets fitted to Southern Electric poles [9] are on garage/house walls. Routine maintenance requirements are: An annual clean of all light fittings. Any lamp failures must be replaced with the recommended unit/current standard. Prices should be submitted as a total price per column for each year. This price will be extended to any future columns added to The Ivers Parish Council stock during the contract period. It is The Ivers Parish Council's policy to try to maintain a standard of LED heads on 5 metre columns for standard streetlight installations to simplify maintenance work. Payment will be made monthly in arrears as one twelfth of the annual price quoted on receipt of a VAT invoice [or quarterly- pro rata]. 4. Additional work During the period of the contract additional work may be required to move columns, handle knock downs and replace equipment damaged by third parties. The Ivers Parish Council reserves the right to refuse alternatives.
