Lydney Local Plan Study 2022

Description

The FoDDC is currently preparing a new Local Plan (LP) for the area, to cover the period to 2041. It has reached a stage where strategic options are being considered prior to the preparation of a draft (reg18) plan. Overall the plan is seeking to meet the present housing requirement and deliver a sustainable solution which will require the identification of land for about 4000 new dwellings across the district over and above existing commitments of about 3000 FoDC are looking for a study to both consider the present strategy to promote the role of Lydney and the overall corporate aims and objectives of the FoDDC especially its climate change objectives.
