Description

The University of Manchester (UoM) is undertaking a project to improve the experience of students & staff in PC suites and deliver robust services for colleagues (UoM use the term 'cluster environments' for facilities with multiple teaching and general access PCs). Along with performance improvements, the University is looking to enhance flexibility for students with regards to where and when they study and gain access to services. Colleague & Student Computing project focusses on identifying solutions to address these problems. The Request for Information (RFI) is to ascertain the offerings around application delivery within the market and explore emerging strategically aligned innovation and developments.
