Ordnance Survey has a mature online presence, with our e-commerce store being rebuilt on the BigCommerce platform in 2020 and our development partner has supported, maintained, and continued developing the site and its associated services. Since its development, the searching, merchandising and recommendations functionality has remained the default function that Big Commerce has to offer. Ordnance Survey is looking to take on a new search, merchandising and recommendation tool that will integrate with the BigCommerce platform that will provide more control over these areas of the website, the goal is to provide a better customer experience and showcase the products that we have to offer in a clearer, more relevant, and interesting way.
