St Mary's Heritage Center, Repairs to Listed Boundary Wall

Description

A contractor is sought to undertake repair works to Grade II Listed Boundary Wall at St Mary's Heritage Centre, Gateshead. Tyne & Wear Building Preservation Trust is a small charity that has recently taken on a 99 Lease for the premises and received funding from the Community Renewal Fund to undertake these works. The works include the following: • Repointing patches of brickwork. • Cutting out and piecing in damaged bricks. • Pointing up gaps to the coping stones. The attached plan shows the location and details the works. A Schedule of Works has been prepared and will be released to upto 6 parties who meet the quality criteria. Interested parties are asked to send three case studies of relevant projects to bev@twbpt.org.uk describing how they are relevant to the works required, explaining how they have managed the contract and range of technical skills employed and naming sub-contractors used. We would also ask that the interested party also explains how the size and type of contract fits within their operations and confirm they have the ability to undertake the work between September 2024 and November 2024.
