Heybridge Basin Parish Council is seeking early engagement with potential contractors for the construction of public toilets at Daisy Meadow Car Park. Project Overview This project aims to deliver high-quality, accessible public toilet facilities that meet current regulations and serve the needs of visitors to the area. The scope includes: Design and construction of the facility. Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) or other relevant standards). Utility connections (water, electricity, and drainage). Landscaping or associated external works. Key Objectives Delivering a robust, low-maintenance facility. Ensuring minimal disruption to car park operations during construction. Achieving value for money while maintaining high standards of quality. Purpose of This Notice This early engagement notice is intended to: Assess the market's capacity and capability to deliver the project. Invite interested parties to provide feedback on the proposed scope and approach. Identify innovative solutions that may add value or improve delivery outcomes.
