NOTE: This notice was updated on 19 April 2022 for the following reason: Previous date set was Monday 2nd May this is a Bank Holiday, so the date has been moved to Tuesday 3rd May(Maldon District Council (MDC) is offering the Kiosk Concession based in Promenade Park, Maldon. Owing to the retirement of the long-standing operators, 'Deb & Bri',the kiosk is now available to lease. This popular Park Kiosk occupies prime position in Promenade Park, Maldon. Overlooking the river, the kiosk has served visitors for many years and is now being offered for lease for a period of 16 months (from June 2022 until 30 September 2023). As a food kiosk, it has previously served items such as hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, cakes, confectionery, snacks, ice creams. However, Maldon District Council will welcome applicants offering a different fayre or trade.) Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
