NOTIFICATION OF SUBCONTRACT PACKAGE A47 Blofield to North Burlingham Dualling Galliford Try, as the East Region Delivery Partner are delivering the A47 Blofield to North Burlingham Dualling project in the county of Norfolk on behalf of Highways England. The project will replace the existing single-lane section of the A47 between Blofield and North Burlingham with a new two-lane dual carriageway 70m south of the existing road and include safety improvements existing junctions. The Project has recently submitted a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate and the Project is scheduled to commence on site during March 2023 and will take around 2 years to complete. Package: Site Clearance Outline Scope of Works The Site Clearance Package consists of: - Circa 65 Hectares of General Site Clearance including Approximately 2 Hectares of Medium Dense Woodland including stump removal; Timber Post & Rail Fencing; Precast concrete kerbs; Vehicle Restraint Systems; Traffic Signs and Road lighting Including cabling. Programme It is anticipated that the Site Clearance works will commence during October 2022 prior to the Construction Works scheduled to commence during January 2023 Timings Deadline for Notifications of Interest 16:00 hrs on Wednesday 4th May 2022 Galliford Try Procurement Process To secure work with Galliford Try, a supplier will need to pass the PAS91 onboarding process administered through Builders Profile.
