Description

Maidstone Borough Council is looking to appoint a Town Planning Consultancy Partner for a period of up to four years. The Council is one of the busiest local planning authorities in Kent, and having adopted our Local Plan in 2017 for the period to 2031, which seeks to deliver 883 new homes per annum, we are soon to submit our Local Plan Review (LPR) to the Planning Inspectorate for examination. This LPR seeks to deliver 1,157 dwelling per annum which equates to 17,355 dwelling over the proposed 2022-37 plan period. Key Dates & Timeline for Procurement Tender release: 23rd May 2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 12:00pm 13th June 2022 Deadline for submission of completed tenders: 12:00pm 20th June 2022 Evaluation: w/c 20th June 2022 Appointment of contractor: w/c 4th July 2022
