Fire Door Installation

Description

North Star are currently in the process of carrying out full fire door assessments across all of our eligible properties. These surveys are well underway, and we are now able to start the remedial / replacement works needed to bring them up to standard. This is a new opportunity from North Star so for the right partner it would also be an opportunity to work with us to develop our long-term replacement strategy for all Fire Door Replacements. The first batch of surveys have now been completed, a sample of these have been provided as part of this tender pack, please see Appendix J-1 to Appendix J-12. We are looking for partners who have expertise in this area with fitters who are competent and have undergone the correct installation training. All works need to be completed to a high standard and doors fully certified upon completion to BS 476-22:1987 or BN EN 1634-1:2014. It is estimated that the contract value is likely to be around £300,000 over the next six months with an overall contract value of approx. £600,000 over the full term of this contract including any extensions.
