220706 - Boarding Up Services in Essex

Description

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) has a requirement for a qualified locksmith to provide 24/7 356 days a year Boarding up services across Essex. EEAST Ambulance crews attend patients in a number of private settings, and on occasion forced entry to the property will either be made by Ambulance, Fire or Police crews. Where the property is insecure the Boarding Up supplier will be called by EEAST Control Room and be provided the address of the premises that requires securing. The contractor must respond within 90 minutes to the given address and be able to secure the premises to prevent further entry. The contractor must work with the Trust and with the patient/family of the patient to ensure access details are safely handed over either to the patient or patient's family to allow future access. A protocol will be agreed with the supplier and AOC following contract Award. The intention is to create off order for goods and services in accordance with a quotation supplied for EEAST to use for a period of 24 months from the acceptance of any offer (with a notional contract value of no more than £50,000).
