South Cambridgeshire District Council - Heritage Streetlight LED Retrofitting Assessment and Upgrade Works

Description

SCDC seeks a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide the necessary expertise to assess, specify and deliver required streetlighting works. Our priorities are to maintain lights in a safe condition, to save energy and achieve cost effective upgrade solutions over the long term. Proposals for all Lots should have regard to these priorities. Works are required for a total of 38 streetlights located across 11 rural parishes in South Cambridgeshire and are described under four WORKS sections listed in the table below and as detailed in following sections. Additional requirements applicable to all WORKS sections are detailed under the General Requirements section. The Works will be split into two lots. Works 1 will be awarded to a single contractor (Lot 1) and Works 2,3 & 4 (Lot 2) will be awarded to a single contractor.
