Description

The Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew require a Principal Contractor to supply all necessary design expertise necessary to carry out pre-installation works within the Jodrell Laboratory building and then oversee the installation of the new Clean Room. The design team must be competent and members of relevant and respected professional bodies. They must ensure that the design fully complies with all statutory requirements and/or regulations, including but not limited to: H&S, Planning, Fire, Building Control, demolition works etc. and where any deficiencies are identified take all necessary action to rectify the design. Works will also include the strip-out of all MEP, fire alarm/smoke detector works, demolition works, reinstatement works, snagging and commissioning works. They will also take ownership of and comply with all CDM responsibilities. Regarding the Clean Room Installation, the Procurement, Management and report of all aspects of the install will lie with the appointed Principal Contractor, from inception through to Room. completion of the project.
