Fair Oak Community Library Refurbishment

Description

Tenders are being sought for the internal and external refurbishment of the library building including: • Full strip out • Removal of internal walls, and the installation of new beams to support the roof structure • Construct internal wall to form new kitchen area, and provide fixtures to the same • Provide sink to new kitchen with hot and cold-water supply and drainage connections • Form new opening to the rear elevation and provide new rear external fire escape • Remove & infill windows & existing door to the rear & side elevations and render external finish • Protect and retain the reception desk • Form new services cupboard to boiler and electrical distribution board • Refurbish the WC area • Provide sun pipes within the flat roof structure • New lighting and electrical adaptations • Heating adaptations, including provision of underfloor heating • New carpet and vinyl flooring • Internal and partial external redecoration • Leave ready for installation of fixtures and fittings by others Tenders are to be sent via post, no later than 10.00am Friday 28 October 2022.
