Cleaning and Locking Services

Description

Newquay Town Council are investigating the possibility of using a contractor for locking and cleaning its public conveniences, on a daily basis (7 days a week). The Council has 12 toilets throughout its town/area (2 are closed). The sites are as follows; • Beach Road (Closed) • Chester Road • Killacourt • Esplanade • Fore Street • Narrowcliff • East Pentire • Railway (Closed) • Trenance Gardens • Watergate • Little Fistral Full details of the site addresses and opening times can be found on the Councils website. The desired locking times are set for winter and summer hours (apart from when Easter is earlier than April) and a couple of events where certain toilets may require a later lock. Winter locks are from 16.00 from 1 October to 31 March Summer locks are from 20.00 from 1 April to 30 September (There are some variances, but the Council might be able to be flexible if required). Please ensure that the quotations for cleaning and locking are priced separately. This contract would include cleaning materials to be provided by the contractor, and compliance with COSHH or other regulations where necessary.
