South Lanarkshire Council Social Work Resources is seeking to appoint a provider to provide saliva testing to the Drug Testing and Treatment Order (DTTO) Team. DTTO Orders are granted by the Courts if a service user’s drug misuse issues are significant and are the cause of offending behaviour. A DTTO is an order made under section 234B of the Criminal Procedure (SCOTLAND) Act 1995 (as inserted by section 89 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998). The full service will include the delivery of the testing kits, staff training, sample testing, results reporting, sample confirmation to forensic standard.
