The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire (PFCC) is inviting organisations to tender to provide Counselling / Talking Therapy and Anger Management Support services to victims of crime and those in need of anger management support across North Yorkshire and City of York. The aim is for the victims to be able to either support themselves independently, or be supported through an appropriate peer support network by the end of the provision. This is provision for Counselling/Talking Therapy for adults and young persons and anger management across the North Yorkshire County. The tender is spilt into 4 geographical Lots with regard to Adults and one Lot for Young Persons. Funding has been calculated on historical data however trend analysis has shown an increase in demand for services over the last 4 years therefore this has been taken into consideration when advertising the tender. However, there is no guarantee of volume or commitment under the subsequent contract. It is a condition of the contract that DBS enhanced level clearance and NPPV Level 2 Abbreviated vetting is in place prior to implementation of the contract. Where staff are accessing the CMS, NPPV Level 2 Full will be required.
