The Supply & Delivery of Roll On/Roll Off (4WD) Tractor Units, Terminal (2WD) Tractor Units and Associated Goods

Description

The purpose of this ITN is to invite Tenderers to submit Tenders for a 3 (three) year Framework Agreement (which may be extended at the option of the Company by up to 2 years) to Supply and Deliver as and when required to PD Teesport ('the Company') premises such number of Roll On/Roll Off (4WD) Tractor Units and/or Terminal (2WD) Tractor Units as PD Teesport requires in accordance with the Specification. In relation to the Roll On/Roll Off (4WD) Tractor Units, two types of units are required being both: (1a) standard Roll On/ Roll Off (4WD) Tractor Units; and (1b) Roll On/Roll Off (4WD) Tractor Units compatible with Houcon Translifter trailers and cassettes. The Contract may be awarded in individual lots with Lot 1 being for both (1a) standard Roll On/Roll Off (4WD) Tractor Units; and (1b) Roll On/Roll Off (4WD) Tractor Units compatible with Houcon Translifter trailers and cassettes, and Lot 2 being for Terminal (2WD) Tractor Units. Tenderers may submit a Tender for one or both Lots. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company gives no commitment under this or under the Framework Agreement as to the volume of any Roll On/Roll Off (4WD) Tractor Units and Terminal (2WD) Tractor Units purchased under the Framework Agreement. Additional information: This Procurement process is being conducted via the In-Tend e-procurement portal. The In-Tend portal is a web based system that allows the Company to make documents electronically available to Tenderers, receive documents electronically from Tenderers and to communicate electronically with Tenderers. The contracting entity is not liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in, or tendering for, this contract opportunity.
