The purpose of this Notice is to notify the market of the award of a short-term contract to Zenith Medcare to provide primary medical care services to the registered population of The Limes Surgery in Hoddeston, East and North Hertfordshire. The service is being delivered under an Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) Contract and is due to expire on 31st January 2023. The service has been delivered by Zenith Medcare since 1st February 2022. The contract being awarded to Zenith Medicare will be to deliver the services for a further 12 months ending on 31st January 2024. The new short-term contract will allow commissioners sufficient time to undertake market engagement and inform a full options appraisal for the longer-term service from 1st February 2024 whilst ensuring continuity of care for the registered patients of the surgery.
