GB-BEDFORD: Bedford Hospital bed number uplifts

Description

The Trust is looking to increase the number of available bed spaces throughout the main ward by converting some non-clinical existing rooms to side rooms and also to increase bed numbers in some bays. The scope of works details which areas are to be changed and what is required within each space. For each specific area, individual pricing will be required. All works will be dependent on the ability to access the spaces and this will be subject to change at short notice. Contractors should carefully consider this when submitting their returns. Where medical gases are required to be installed from new or reinstated, the contractor will work alongside the Trust incumbent provider - SHJ Medical Gas Specialists Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
