Planning permission has been gained for the substation site. It is intended that an ICP IDNO will be appointed to provide electricity infrastructure and connections for the development site. The substation will be built to their specification TBC on appointment of ICP IDNO We expect the works to include: Minimal site clearance, construction of the substation plinth, brick walls, concrete roof slab, louvred doors and windows and railings around the plinth to ICP IDNO specification, we have provided UKPN drawing as example of the likely works required along with the substation planning application drawings. Construct the ramp up to the substation plinth. Excavate trench and backfill a trench for ICP IDNO cables from the substation plinth, through the Boathouse Carpark to the UKPN point of connection on Chase Street. Contractors need to be able to demonstrate previous experience in similar works. Expression of interest window ends 22nd June 2023.
