Provision of management and maintenance of Myatt's Fields Park

Description

The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking expressions of interest from organisations to undertake the day-to-day management and maintenance of Myatt's Fields Park through a Service Level Agreement. The initial expected duration will be for a minimum of 5 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years after. It is anticipated that the management fee value will be approximately £15k per year reducing to £9k over time. We are seeking an organisation with links to the local community and some experience in managing a similar sized park/operations. The successful organisation will be expected to undertake the following: 1. All aspects of horticulture 2. Grass cutting throughout the site 3. Management of sports facilities - tennis courts and all-weather pitch 4. Adhoc repairs at the site 5. Management and facilitation of events 6. Hedge cutting on the interior of the site 7. General monitoring of the site and usage 8. Any other duties to improve the site The council will continue to: 1. Undertake cleansing and bin emptying (including disposal) 2. Management and monitoring of the site's tree stock 3. Management and maintenance of the site's playground and splashpad 4. Site security - locking and unlocking 5. Management and maintenance of the on-site toilet facilities 6. Planned maintenance of the buildings The list above is not exhaustive and is subject to negotiation between parties.
