Sexual Health Services

Description

Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council (the Authorities) are inviting tenders for the provision of Sexual Health Services in accordance with the applicable elements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This opportunity will be an open procedure under the Light Touch Regime, and the Authorities welcome tenders from consortium or sub-contracting arrangements for this procurement opportunity. The Authorities have a requirement for Sexual Health Services as part of their wider public health responsibilities, and the Authorities intend to procure provision for Integrated Sexual Health Service (Lot 1), provision for an Online Sexual Health Service (Lot 2), and the provision for Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Service (Lot 3). It is the intention for the Authorities that the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) will be procured early Autumn 2023, alongside additional pharmacy services. However, the delivery of EHC service remains a key provision in the Sexual Health Service landscape. The commissioned sexual health services for Leicestershire and Rutland comprise of the Integrated Sexual Health Service (ISHS) and Community Based Services (CBS).
