MLCSU Request for Quotation IT Storage Racking

Description

Key activities required To provide off the floor storage racking for an IT storage facility. Facility will be base in 140 sq.m of space (plan provided). • The storage facility is required to hold a volume more than 80 m3 of equipment and ideally no taller than 2.1 m high, approximately. • There should be space for of approximately 15sq/m of space to have yellow hatching. • Clear floor markings around the floor, designating the racking and floor directions and space for a fire route to the rear of the building. • Racking needs to have a wooden base for each shelf and approximately 1m depth. • Various storage bins need to be incorporated for smaller items, such as Mouse/Keyboard/peripherals • Pallet truck is required for deliveries • Minimal moving and handling requirements. List of items that will be stored: PC's Laptops Printers Server/Network kit Computer peripherals Computer Monitors Desired output To provide a racking an efficient racking system for an IT service that will maintain and have fast flow of kit in and out of the unit.
