CWR 23-01 - Recycling Materials Broker Services
CWR 23-01 - Recycling Materials Broker Services
Earlier notices predate the Procurement Act 2023 (commenced 24 Feb 2025) and therefore don't carry UK1–UK17 codes.
CWR wish to work with a single supplier to provide a brokering service to manage the sale/disposal of all the recycling products and organic material it collects. This procurement will cover the sale of sorted dry recycling materials into the reprocessing markets as well as the disposal outlets for the organic waste collected. This service will provide additional income, utilising the brokers expertise and knowledge to maximise the 5 r's principals "refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and then recycle." and the relationships held across various routes to market for delivering a comprehensive and value-adding service. The successful supplier will assist CWR to maximise the sale value achieved for their materials, less an agreed fee mechanism for delivering and achieving the service outcomes and income gains, with material quality management interventions and best practices, supply comprehensive and detailed reports on tonnage, end destinations, sales performance and market intelligence to aid budgeting and forecasts. Materials produced at CWR's facility will be comparable to those generally produced through good industry practice to meet industry standards and specifications.
