The specification sets out the requirements and expectations for Providers delivering packages of support through the Independence Support and Supported Living (ISSL) Framework for adults with learning disabilities and autism in Bracknell Forest. This specification has been developed in accordance with legislation and best practice guidance. People with learning disabilities and autism and carers have been involved in the development of the specification. Feedback was gathered via questionnaires as well as face to face engagement with community groups and sub-groups of the Bracknell Forest Learning Disability and Autism Partnership Board. This has led to the development of a Support Worker Agreement. Providers are expected to ensure that this agreement is adhered to by all members of support staff.
