EOI: Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery in Coventry and Warwickshire and General Dental Services in Rugby

NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AG CSU) on behalf of NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) (referred to as the Commissioner) wish to inform the market of a future procurement opportunity for Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery (IMOS) including treatment under Conscious Sedation across the Coventry and Warwickshire ICB area. There is also an opportunity to deliver General Dental Services (GDS) in Rugby. The anticipated contract duration is for 7 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years (total contract duration 9 years). A Personal Dental Services (PDS) agreements will be established with the successful bidder(s) for both services. The Commissioner would like to invite suitably qualified and experienced providers to participate in a market engagement assessment questionnaire that will help to gauge the interest in the proposed services that will help to: • Gain market views on the viability of procuring IMOS and GDS services, • Determine a structure of the future procurement, • Determine the lotting strategy for the IMOS services in Coventry and Warwickshire. A draft service specification and a draft PDS contract has also been uploaded onto the portal for review and comments. Guidance regarding how to view the draft service specification, contract and how to complete this questionnaire has been provided below. Please note that this survey is purely a market engagement exercise. Your response to this survey does not guarantee your organisation's participation in any future procurement resultant from this exercise. Future procurements resultant from this exercise will be advertised separately. Should your organisation wish to submit a bid, then it must respond to the advertisement which calls for the procurement competition separately at the time. The procurement will be advertised in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) (the "Regulations") to the extent that the Regulations relate to services within the scope of Schedule 3 thereto (Social and Other Specific Services). The Commissioner and AGCSU are, therefore, bound only by those parts of the Regulations applying to Schedule 3 services.
