The event seeks to procure a programme of between 1.8 and 2 GW HVDC Converter Stations. The Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) and maintenance agreement for the programme will include: HVDC system design and testing, Procurement and installation of HVDC equipment, Commissioning of HVDC system, Civil requirement specification and Design deliverables to allow civil interface design to be completed, Sequencing of works as required to align with civil Construction, High Voltage Alternating Current (HVAC) Cable system between HVDC Converter and AC Substations including all required design and construction interfaces. The event excludes civil engineering and associated works. The aforementioned includes the installation of the High Voltage equipment, and the HVAC Cable system between HVDC Converter and AC Substations which are Optional and may be excluded at SSEN-T's sole discretion.
