GB-Rickmansworth: Rickmansworth Aquadrome Bridge, Associated Works and Play Area

Expressions of Interest are invited for a Principal contractor to manage and deliver the planned works within the Aquadrome. These fall into 3 categories, Replacement of the footbridge with associated Civils Works, Hard Landscaping and Refurbishment of the Play Area at Ebury Way. The Council is seeking either a Tier One contractor to be Principal Contractor, fully deliver the works and interface the disciplines required or would consider a second tier contractor, specializing in the delivery of one of the work disciplines, undertaking the role. The scope of works includes the provision of a new 3m wide replacement bridge, plus associated landscaping works, widened footpaths, seating areas and sub-structure works. The contractor shall be responsible for the design, supply and installation of the bridge and all associated works. The works also include the provision of an upgrade to the Ebury Play Area to the North West of the site. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
